I have an Oculus rift and instruments are readable, I was also impressed about the performance, no real stutters even wilth clouds, full scenery flying a A320 is working to setup make sure you install the latest update, the profile in included, if you run FS2020 vorpx should now hook up automatically. Additionally to ‘making games 3D’ it offers various features to tackle many of the issues that arise when playing games on the Rift that are not designed for it. But according to the release notes this new vorpx version should be able to detect trackir and use it. vorpX is a 3D-driver for DirectX9-11 games that is specifically geared towards VR-devices like the Oculus Rift. Unfortunately I didn’t manage yet to setup trackir so I have to simulate my head movements using the hat-switch.

With this version like teenyarmadillo7 (TA7) says it’s like xplane, you can see the instruments around you. You saw some depth in the screen but that’s it, instrumens were still “flat”.

In the previous release you could already run FS2020 in simulated 3D view based on a vorpx profile called a plague tale (also from Asobo). It’s quite different compared to the previous release.

Yesterday I noticed the new realease and saw in the release notes it was now supporting FS2020 in 3D. Indeed new vorpx finally arrived with a nice bonus for fs2020. vorpDesktop starts a process under apps vorpX VR Driver (32 bit) but no windows opens on desktop (dont know if it should) Error message on Oculus. Thanks teenyarmadillo7 for starting this topic.
